Exponential Summits
Our Exponential Summits bring together leaders in business, science, policy and civil society to share learnings and challenges with the aim of scaling exponential climate action and solutions.
Solutions House 2023
Our events at Solutions House 2023 organised with Futerra and Google focus on the fact that the answers are here, and they’re within our reach. We will give concrete examples on how we, as a society and as organizations can make a change by sharing answers.

Exponential Solutions Day at Stockholm Climate Week
Stockholm Climate Week’s Exponential Solutions Day on 20 April gathered leaders in science, policy, and business to explore solutions to the greatest challenges of our time: reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030.
Speakers at Exponential Solutions Day emphasized that the window was rapidly closing to achieve the emissions reductions needed to secure a liveable planet. Spain’s minister for the Ecological Transition, Teresa Ribera, called for multiplying our current efforts and Professor Dr Johan Rockström, Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, stressed: “There is no safe landing on a linear journey. It is all about exponentials today.”
COP27
Emissions need to halve by 2030. We can succeed if we focus on exponentially scaling climate solutions in energy, transport, food and nature, shifting away from the fossil economy. Transformative and disruptive companies are leading the way, but stronger policy, finance and utilization of digitalisation is required to accelerate the race to the top.
At COP27, we are partnering up with We Don’t Have Time and the UN Backed Race to Zero campaign, hosting three high-level sessions showcasing how we can exponentially scale climate solutions in food & nature and energy systems.

September 2022
Hosted by Futerra, the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and Google, the motto of Solutions House was ‘answers only’. Every one of our debates, showcases, ideation sessions and workshops was held in that spirit.
Leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, youth activists, storytellers, innovators and influencers gathered with one objective: drive exponential climate solutions that help halve emissions before 20230.
Exponential Climate Action Summit VI — Maximizing impact with digitalization
June 2022
The sixth of the Exponential Climate Action Summit series— brought to you live from SPACE arena in Stockholm with 1.5°C aligned front-runners like Ericsson, Google, BT Group, Netflix and many others.
The digital industry has a leadership role in racing towards net zero value chains, but also accelerating the movement to halve emission in all supply chains. It is crucial to halve emissions in all other sectors, while also enabling sustainable choices and raising climate awareness among people.
Exponential Race to Zero- Stockholm+50
June 2022
Hosted at the Sthlm+50 Climate Hub, with over 31 million viewers from 160+ countries and 1000+ delegates in physical attendance, the Exponential Race to Zero was hosted together with We Don’t Have Time, United Nations’ Race to Zero and We Mean Business Coalition.
The series of events focused on the game-changers in energy, transport, plant-based food and maximizing positive impacts from digitalization.
Exponential Climate Action Summit V — Nature in the Race to Zero
April 2022
Hosted on Earth Day, the fifth Exponential Climate Action Summit explored the role of nature in the Race to Zero, including how nature-based solutions can help us deliver a third of the greenhouse gas reductions needed by 2030 to meet the Paris Agreement.
We need to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by mid-century to keep the global temperature below 1,5°C. While the focus has primarily been on reducing fossil fuel dependency, there is no viable route to limiting global warming and building resilience without urgently protecting, managing, and restoring nature
Exponential Climate Action Summit IV — COP26
November 2021
Daily live broadcasts from COP26 in Glasgow, and from hubs in Stockholm, Helsinki, Washington DC and Nairobi- hosted by We Don’t Have Time. Exponential Climate Action Summit VI covered Food Production & Nature-based solutions, Innovation & Digitalization, Energy & Transportation, Finance and Industry & Buildings.
Exponential Climate Action Summit III — Circularity and the Race to Zero
September 2021
Our third Exponential Climate Action Summit focused on the challenges, opportunities, and creative solutions regarding circularity and resource efficiency. We bring together transformers, disruptors, and enablers to explore how a circular economy can contribute to lowering emissions while also addressing human needs
Exponential Climate Action Summit II — Financing the Race to Zero
April 2021
At our second Exponential Climate Action Summit we bring together transformers, disruptors and enablers focusing on how to finance the Race to Zero. Our societies need to halve CO2 emissions by 2030 and continue toward zero by 2050, by scaling climate solutions exponentially. Capital must enable the exponential transformation and the financial sector must be exponentially transformed.
Exponential Climate Action Summit I — Race to Zero through digitalization
September 2020
Hosted at Climate Week, the Exponential Climate Action Summit brought together the foremost thinkers and doers in climate action to discuss what innovations and policies exist that can bring the change required in order to halve emissions by 2030 in the Race To Zero.
We have explored how digitalization can enable sufficient action in businesses and governments. We have also discussed the solutions that digitalization brings in the sectors of energy, transport and industry, along with the frontrunners of each sector.
Earth Day Week broadcast
April 2020
Hosted during Earth Day week, the program featured the brightest minds to discuss solutions to the climate crisis, covering the themes: finance, circular economy& consumption, big ideas & education and food & agriculture. 450 000 daily viewers from 140+ countries tuned in to this online no-fly climate conference.
