The Exponential Way: Climate Solutions
This session will explore how the climate solutions movement is shaping up — and how the ability to define climate solutions can support companies, buyers and procurement teams, investors and others working to accelerate the net-zero transition. Through practical examples, we’ll look at how a shared understanding of what qualifies as a climate solution can help bring clarity, guide decision-making and strengthen credibility.
We’ll also discuss what kind of infrastructure is needed to create an environment where climate solutions companies, products and services can thrive — and how we can speed up the replacement of fossil-dependent systems. Finally, we’ll look at how the climate solutions framework complements existing tools such as GHG accounting and SBTi, and what kind of understanding is needed, and by whom, for it to be recognised and respected in practice.
