Accelerating Corporate Climate Action through Recognition and Accountability

The Integrity Matters report launched at COP27 by the UN Secretary-General’s High-Level Expert Group for net zero commitments of non-state actors (HLEG) presented a clear and ambitious direction of travel for credible net zero pledges. But reviews of net zero targets still reveal that corporate net zero integrity falls short.

This event brought together leaders and experts in the corporate accountability space to take stock of corporate net zero targets’ integrity and discuss frameworks to advance and accelerate credible corporate climate action.
