Defining, Qualifying, and Scaling Climate Solutions

Climate solutions must scale exponentially to phase out fossil fuels. But to ensure the integrity of claims around climate solutions, it’s crucial to be able to define what climate solutions even are.

This event brings together experts in research, corporate climate action, and standards to launch for consultation a set of principles for defining climate solutions developed by the Exponential Roadmap Initiative and Oxford Net Zero. It further discusses the role of standards and regulation in scaling best practices and making them binding.

Speakers:

  • Johan Falk, CEO, Exponential Roadmap Initiative
  • Kaya Axelsson, Policy Engagement Fellow, Oxford Net Zero
  • Massamba Thioye, Project Executive UNFCCC Global Innovation Hub, UNFCCC Secretariat
  • Emily Faint, Net Zero Policy Manager, British Standards Institution
  • Moderator: Andrea Lindblom, Exponential Roadmap Initiative
